Our prizes and awards

We strive to put in place best practices to support individuals and communities and protect the environment. This steady progress has enabled us to win awards, demonstrating our latest advances in Corporate Responsibility, diversity, equity and inclusion.

Responsibility Europe

The renewal of our ESR label in 2025 enabled us to obtain Responsibility Europe recognition, a European network that promotes robust and recognized CSR approaches. This distinction confirms the strength of our commitment to social and environmental responsibility, based on concrete, day-to-day actions. It reflects our ambition to act sustainably and to have our commitments recognized beyond our borders.

SuperDrecksKëscht

Sodexo, a pioneer in the management of non-organic waste, was recognized for its efforts as early as 2006, receiving the SuperDrecksKëscht label for its first establishments. Today, all its restaurants renew this certification annually, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to reducing, sorting and collecting waste.

Triple ISO certification

Sodexo has been honored with triple certification: ISO 45001/ISO 14001/ISO 9001, attesting to the effectiveness of the central organization of this support process for catering and Facilities Management activities. In addition, all of our activities (catering, cleaning, mail, helpdesk, etc.) carried out at a long-standing customer site have been recognised with ISO 14001 certification.

IMS member

In 2007, Sodexo joined IMS Luxembourg, an organisation that promotes the practical application of Corporate Social Responsibility among Luxembourg companies. Sodexo aims to play an active role in promoting sustainable development and to build on the momentum generated by IMS member companies.

MLQE Quality member

Since 2014, Sodexo has been affiliated to the Mouvement Luxembourgeois pour la Qualité et l'Excellence as a quality member.

Award from the Ministry for Equal Opportunities

In 2013, Sodexo received Positive Action accreditation for its actions on the theme of gender equality in three priority areas: equal treatment of women and men, equality of women and men in decision-making and equality of women and men in the reconciliation of professional and private life.

Diversity Awards

In 2017, Sodexo Luxembourg was awarded the Diversity Awards Lëtzebuerg for its innovative Vis ma Vie (Live my Life) initiative. This project, which is repeated every year on Diversity Day, encourages employees to try out another trade during a discovery day, regardless of their age, gender or training.

A socially responsible company

Sodexo was one of the first companies in Luxembourg to be awarded the “Entreprise Socialement Responsable” (Socially responsible company) – ESR label. It obtained this recognition for the first time in 2010 and then successfully renewed it for the fifth time in 2025.

Made in Luxembourg label

Sodexo is proud to have been awarded the Made in Luxembourg label, which recognises excellence in service and commitment to quality and innovation.

Charter of Values

Sodexo Luxembourg has been honoured by the Charter of Values of the Fédération des Artisans. This recognition is testimony to Sodexo Luxembourg’s commitment to the values of quality, proximity, innovation and independence1. The Fédération des Artisans values organisations that respect their employees, the environment and the communities in which they are rooted. Sodexo Luxembourg, with its commitment to these values, has therefore been recognised as a signatory to this charter.

Member of the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter

In September 2012, not only did Sodexo Luxembourg sign this charter, it also chose to join the select circle of five privileged partners providing financial support for it.

Member Zero Single-use Plastic

Since 1 January 2019, Sodexo has begun taking steps to minimize plastic waste at all of our sites in Luxembourg. As a signatory of the IMS Manifesto, we are deploying various initiatives to reduce the use of disposable plastic.

Prix Santé en Entreprise

Sodexo has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to social progress by valuing its human resources, improving the working environment and promoting practices that strengthen risk prevention and employee health. In 2009, this commitment was recognized when Sodexo was awarded the Prix Santé en Entreprise (Health in business prize).
