World Climate Day: Sodexo Luxembourg commits to a sustainable future

At Sodexo Luxembourg, we believe that a sustainable future is built one meal at a time. Our value chain is directly linked to the preservation and regeneration of natural ecosystems.

That’s why we have set ambitious goals as part of our CSR roadmap Better Tomorrow 2028:

  • Reduce our carbon emissions by 55% by 2030
  • Achieve carbon neutrality by 2040 (NetZero 2040), validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

To succeed in this transformation, we focus on key levers:

  • Reducing food waste with our LeanPath tool, which allows us to measure, analyze, and act quickly.
  • Increasing sustainable dishes by adding more plant-based options to our menus for animal welfare, health, and the planet.
  • Optimizing water and energy use, implementing efficiency measures and raising awareness among our 2,400 employees.
