  • Reducing food waste, notably through measurement and monitoring tools that identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Lowering carbon emissions, through the gradual evolution of menus toward more responsible food choices and plant-based options;
  • Eliminating single-use plastics and adopting more respectful practices;
  • Raising awareness and engaging employees, enabling everyone to play an active role in the transition.

An approach based on measurement, innovation, and human engagement

One of the key elements of this collaboration is the ability to accurately measure progress. Through Sodexo’s proprietary tools, including SEA (Sodexo Environmental Action) and WasteWatch, teams can better understand their environmental impact and identify the actions with the greatest potential for improvement.

Beyond metrics, Sodexo and the EIB also share the belief that the success of any sustainable transition depends on people. Informing, educating, and engaging employees are essential steps in driving lasting behavioral change.
